Gundam Seed Remaster

The HD remaster series was made to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the said series. Instead of airing it in standard SD, the graphics was updated and cropped to fit the current 16:9 HD setting. It will air on Japan's Bandai Channel this December 23, 2011 and on January 1, 2012 on BS11 and on January 3, 2012 on Tokyo MX. Three Blu-ray Boxes will ship in 2012_ on March 23, June 22, and September 21, respectively. The limited edition of the first box will cost 21,000 yen (about US$269) and will contain about 288 minutes (plus 2 minutes of bonus extras) in 1080 progressive resolution.
Bonuses will include an exclusive booklet, the creditless opening and ending animation footage, audio commentary for one episode per disc, and an exclusive box.
