Description: "Sakura no Shiori" is the 15th major single (17th overall) released by AKB48. It was released in three versions: a type A and B that came with a DVD, and a theater version. All AKB48 members and two SKE48 were filmed in the "Sakura no Shiori" PV wearing Hakama costumes with several Tokyo districts used as background. The PV is directed by Iwai Shunji, famous Japanese film director. This single sold 317,828 copies in its first week and became the highest-selling first week for a female single since Utada Hikaru's "COLORS" in 2003.
