WHO: Annabel (アナベル) is a Japanese pop singer-songwriter under Lantis. She mostly sings themes for anime or games. Annabel's music career began in 2005, later in 2006 she formed together with yanaginagi the "vocal unit" binaria. As Annabel is responsible for the duo's lyrics in addition to vocals, most of their releases titles are in Spanish, her mother tongue. In 2007 she collaborated with composer bermei.inazawa and formed another duo called anNina, they released two singles and one mini-album. The two singles became popular for being the ending theme songs for the second and third season of the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. In 2009 she started her solo career produced by composer myu (who is member of the duo kukui). Her popularity rose with the release of the singles "above your hand" and "Signal Graph". In November 2012 she will release her first studio album including all her solo singles.
